DERIDDER, La. (AP) — DERIDDER, La. (AP) — Amerisafe Inc. (AMSF) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $14 million.
The Deridder, Louisiana-based company said it had profit of 73 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, were 53 cents per share.
The insurance provider posted revenue of $81.1 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $76.1 million.
Amerisafe shares have declined 15% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen nearly 10% in the last 12 months.
