On a per-share basis, the Lehi, Utah-based company said it had a loss of 36 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 8 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 10 cents per share.
The company posted revenue of $118.6 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $125.6 million.
Purple Innovation expects full-year revenue in the range of $490 million to $510 million.
