The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 46 cents per share.
The insurance company posted revenue of $78 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $80.3 million.
Goosehead expects full-year revenue in the range of $295 million to $310 million.
