ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — Argan Inc. (AGX) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $18.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the Rockville, Maryland-based company said it had net income of $1.31.
The builder of energy plants posted revenue of $227 million in the period.
Argan shares have increased 52% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $70.92, an increase of 73% in the last 12 months.
