VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Barrett Business Services Inc. (BBSI) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $136,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Vancouver, Washington-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share.
The human resources management company posted revenue of $265.8 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $1.91 billion.
Barrett shares have increased nearly 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $122.43, an increase of 45% in the last 12 months.
