There’s a monumental offer on the table in Northern Virginia and we think the time is right to support a new world-class sports arena entertainment district in our community. The proposed site — in Potomac Yard, at National Landing’s southern end in Alexandria — comes as no surprise to many of us. The area is primed for business and urban development. What was once a railyard is now one of the most attractive development opportunities on the East Coast.
