I just looked up the word in the Webster’s New World College Dictionary:

By nearly any measure imaginable, Greater Washington is in need of a revival. Our economy is underperforming. Our offices are relatively empty, hurting our central core and hurtling landlords toward foreclosure. Our public transit system faces a $750 million shortfall, with service cuts and layoffs already being floated if the gap isn’t plugged. The economic divide is getting worse, not better.

So as the Business Journal presents the complete list of our Power 100, we are excited to announce a new initiative highlighting our region’s revival. We have partnered with Fortune 500 company CBRE Group Inc., the largest commercial real estate services company in the world, to produce an index tracking key metrics to show how we’re doing.
