My Story: Nathan Bashir on the sometimes difficult costs of his American dream

I began my story growing up in the Punjab province of Pakistan. I completed my early education in Islamabad before coming to the United States with my American dream. But my journey in both these countries wasn’t always easy.

In Pakistan, I was Christian in a Muslim-populated nation, a minority in my country. The life of a minority in third-world countries is not easy.
