WEDNESDAY EVENING:
Passing clouds
Sunset: 8:01 p.m.
Temperatures: 70s
Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph
Passing clouds this evening won’t amount to much. Sunset is a little after 8, so plenty of time to enjoy the nice weather.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
Mainly clear
Lows: 58-65
Winds: South 3-8 mph
It will be clear and a bit cooler overnight with wake-up temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to middle 60s.
THURSDAY:
Partly to mostly sunny
Highs: 85-90
Winds: West 5-10 mph
Plan for sunshine and another warmer-than-average day across the DMV. Highs around 90 degrees will make it feel more like the middle of summer.
FRIDAY:
Morning sun, afternoon clouds
Highs: 75-85
Winds: NE to SE 5-15, Gusts 20 mph
Our weather pattern starts to change a bit by Friday, as a backdoor cold front slides through. This means our winds will shift out of the east bringing in added clouds and lower temperatures. It will turn breezy Friday evening with rain chances possible late at night.
THIS WEEKEND:
Wet weather chances are on the rise this weekend, especially Saturday night into Sunday morning. Rainfall totals may exceed 1-inch in many neighborhoods. Highs in the 60s and lower 70s can be expected.
