Looking at the highest-paid CEOs of Greater Washington’s public companies, we have some major new contenders this year, with relocated companies like The Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA), led by President and CEO David Calhoun, and Raytheon Technologies Corp. (NYSE: RTX), led by Chairman and CEO Gregory Hayes, now calling our region home.
The average total compensation among this group of 25 was $18.1 million this year. Perhaps even more amazing is the average raise they got over 2020 pay, which was 213.25%. Only three women made the top 25 in compensation, and only three people making this list are not white.
