Mike Tyson’s cannabis company expands sales into Maryland

Boxer-turned-cannabis entrepreneur Mike Tyson is now selling his brand of medical marijuana at Maryland dispensaries.

His company, Tyson 2.0, announced Thursday that it has expanded distribution into four new states, Arizona, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland, through its partnership with Columbia Care, a New York-based cultivator and distributor of cannabis products.

Tyson 2.0 said that its flower, vape and pre-rolled products are now available at more than 50 dispensaries throughout Maryland, including Columbia Care outlets in Chevy Chase and gLeaf locations in Rockville and Frederick.  

Columbia Care was also Tyson’s partner to launch the Tyson 2.0 product into D.C., where its 3.5-gram flower and kief of Mega Runtz started selling at Capital City Care, a licensed dispensary on U Street NW in Ward 1.

Tyson 2.0’s move into Maryland comes four months before the state’s residents are to vote on a ballot measure that would make marijuana legal for recreational use for adults over 21.…
