From New York to Hawaii, hotels, inns and Airbnb hosts are partnering with craft breweries to offer guests best-in-class beer. Embrace Beertini Time in Hawaii
Not everyone who visits Hawaii sips mai tai cocktails. In fact, the Big Island is home to Kona Brewing Company, which partnered with Hilton Waikoloa Village in early 2017 to offer the Kona Tap Room. Kua Bay IPA and Hula Hefeweizen — two of the 16 craft and domestic beers on tap — are only available in Hawaii. In addition to its small-batch brews, Kona Tap Room has a menu boasting “beertails” and other island-inspired creations mixed with beer.
Learn to Brew and Bend
Woodstock Inn, Station & Brewery in North Woodstock, New Hampshire, is every discerning beer drinker’s dream getaway. The New Hampshire inn’s “Learn to Brew” package, available in December, includes tours detailing the day’s brewing process. Guests can also taste the award-winning ales that are considered the best craft beer in the White Mountains. This fall, guests can even strike a pose before getting their brew fix at Sunday yoga-in-the-brewery classes. What’s more, the inn offers reasonable nightly rates for beer aficionados on a budget. A full country breakfast is included, too.
Stay in a Brewpub Penthouse
For around $130 per night, you can bunk in a two-bedroom condominium occupying the former downtown location of Flagstaff, Arizona’s Historic Brewing Company. Guests staying at the family-owned brewery can visit its pub, Barrel+Bottle House, to taste nearly two dozen rotating beers on tap. The popular happy hour hot spot also has wine from Historic Brewing Company’s sister business, Grand Canyon Wine Co.
Bunk in a Beer Museum
With the world’s largest collection of vintage brewery advertising decor, Brewhouse Mountain Eco-Inn in York Haven, Pennsylvania, has been featured on the Travel Channel, the History Channel and the Home and Garden Channel. The entire inn, located in south-central Pennsylvania, is listed on Airbnb for $399 per night and includes four bedrooms, some with four floor-to-ceiling walls filled with vintage beer cans from around the world. The inn’s owner and host, Jeff Lebo, specializes in “breweriana” history. Still, he’s most likely to tell guests about the nearby Brewhouse Mountain Beer Trail — a map of 38 nearby local craft breweries.

Splurge for a High-End Beer-Inspired Escape
As part of its centennial celebration, The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, partnered with Red Leg Brewing Company to create its own signature beer. The scenic Seven Falls Canyon — visible from the resort’s new zip line and ropes course — was the inspiration for the beer’s name: Seven Falls Prospector’s Pick Kölsch. Currently, it’s only available at The Broadmoor’s 20 on-site dining and drinking establishments. Occasionally, you can sample it in Red Leg’s taproom, located just 10 miles down the road in the heart of Colorado Springs.
Take a Tour of Pours in the Mile High City
For a taste of Denver’s burgeoning micro-brewery scene, spring for the Micro Brew Walking Tour Package offered at Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center and Grand Hyatt Denver. Colorado is home to 348 breweries, many of which are featured on this self-guided walking tour arranged exclusively for guests staying at either property. The package includes beer flights, tasters, pints and discounts at five nearby breweries — all conveniently within walking distance.
Embrace the Great Outdoors and Top-Notch Brews in Boulder, Colorado
The perfect end to an afternoon of climbing is a cold beer in hand. That’s why Boulder’s hippest property, Basecamp Boulder, started a Bouldering and Brews special. The package pairs tackling the hotel’s bouldering wall with post-climbing celebratory beers from two local breweries. Guests can be bold and opt for the new Rumpkin — a pumpkin-spiced ale aged in rum barrels — produced by Avery Brewing Company. Or, beer lovers can delight in classic varieties, like Upslope Brewing’s brown ale, which won the Gold award at the 2017 North American Beer Awards.
Stay at a Midwest Retreat with European Flair
At the Brewery Creek Inn, located in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, you’ll find plenty of European-inspired beer varieties at the on-site brewery. The property’s innkeeper brews all of his ales in-house at a charming bed-and-breakfast he owns and operates with his wife. The historic three-story stone building’s top floors are reserved for five guestrooms, where guests are assured the brewpub downstairs is quiet after 10 p.m. Even better, if you’re traveling with kids in tow, younger visitors can delight in homemade root beer.
Take Back a Pint in the Finger Lakes
New York’s Finger Lakes region is synonymous with wine. But it’s also home to a handful of noteworthy breweries, including the microbrewery at The Inn at Grist Iron. Now in its second year, Grist Iron Brewing Company has won over guests who usually start with the flagship Front Porch Imperial IPA. The property, with water views of Seneca Lake, includes guest rooms in an 1860s-era farmhouse and suites in a modern lodge.

Visit a School Teaching the Art of IPAs
At McMenamins Old St. Francis School, a historic school-turned-hotel-and-brewery located in Bend, Oregon, it’s easy to enjoy outdoor adventure and hearty pints at the on-site brewery and pub. The property offers 60 guestrooms spread out over the main lodge, the Art and Ed houses and the Parish House. In 2016, the on-site six-barrel brewery brewed 2,262 kegs, some of which guests can purchase. If you’re not looking to spend the night, you can also simply tour the brewery and taste a pint or two.
