Animal shelter turns ‘Pokemon Go’ players into dogwalkers

WASHINGTON — The “Pokemon Go” craze has been linked to a spate of robberies on the University of Maryland campus and concerns about trespassing by some persistent players.

Now, an animal shelter in Muncie, Indiana, is putting the wandering, smartphone-wielding players to work for a good cause — walking shelter dogs.
