NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Two of the nation’s best offenses will match up when Baylor and Oklahoma face off on Saturday.
The 10th-ranked Bears (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) lead the nation with just over 50 points and 590 yards per game. The 16th-ranked Sooners (6-2, 3-2) are eighth nationally in scoring with 41.4 points.
Each team showed what it could do last week. Baylor rolled up 669 yards in a 60-14 win over Kansas, while Oklahoma gained 510 of its 751 yards on the ground in a 59-14 win over Iowa State.
Both defenses have been vulnerable against top teams. Oklahoma allowed 37 in a loss to TCU, 31 in a loss to Kansas State and 33 in a win over West Virginia. Baylor gave up 58 in a win over TCU and 41 in a loss to West Virginia.
