Hoyer wants to get LeBron on Browns bandwagon

BEREA, Ohio (AP) — LeBron James could be getting some pressure to change his NFL colors.

A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, James is feeling really good about his team’s 5-1 record. The Cavaliers’ superstar posted a photo on his Instagram account Monday of him beaming a wide smile while wearing a Cowboys sweatshirt and cap.

Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer said he understands James’ loyalties.

“He’s a year older than me, the Browns left when he was a kid, too,” said Hoyer, referring to the Browns’ move to Baltimore in 1995. “You have to cheer for someone.”

Hoyer has the Browns off to a 3-2 start, and the local native thinks it might be good enough to convince King James to consider pulling for the brown and orange.

“Hopefully,” Hoyer said with a smile, “we can bring him around to it.”

James attended a Browns practice this summer with his sons.
