RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The Metro Richmond Zoo is celebrating the births of five cheetah cubs.
Media outlets report that a 3-year-old cheetah named Milani gave birth to the cubs on Friday.
Five other cubs were born at the zoo last October. One died in May from what was believed to be a bacterial infection.
Zoo owner Jim Andelin says he hopes to restart the Richmond Cheetah Cam for the new cubs. The online camera was shut down a couple of days before the first cubs made their public debut in April.
