WASHINGTON — A Prince William County roadway has reopened after a three-vehicle crash caused its closure for most of the Monday morning rush hour.
The head-on crash happened on the ramp from the Prince William Parkway on to westbound Interstate 66 at about 6 a.m. Monday. All lanes reopened at about 10 a.m.
Emergency crews transported one person with critical injuries to an area hospital via medical helicopter. Crews drove another person to a nearby hospital, but haven’t released details about that person’s injuries, according to the Prince William County Fire Department.
