WASHINGTON — It’s nearly summer and you’re planning on a season packed with burgers, barbecues and the beach.
But before you take off on that longed-for summer vacation, Montgomery County’s Board of Elections wants to make sure you don’t forget to vote in this month’s primaries. Election Day is June 24; early voting begins June 12.
You can cast your ballot between June 12 and June 19 at one of nine early voting centers. The sample ballots being mailed out by the county’s Board of Elections have information on how to use touchscreens. There’s even information on a website you can access on your mobile phone to update you on wait times at your local polling place.
