INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Fan Force United says it has signed Stefan Wilson and will try to run a full IndyCar schedule with the British driver next season.
The team competes in the Indy Lights Series but is aiming to move up to the top tier in 2015. Fan Force United has partnered with Xclusive Marketing Agency to help transition into IndyCar.
Fan Force United says Jilcat Industries has promised sponsorship for Wilson, and the team would like to enter Wilson in some events later this season.
Wilson has one career IndyCar start, at Baltimore last season with Dale Coyne Racing as a teammate to older brother, Justin. He has 32 starts in Indy Lights, but none since 2012 when he ran one race and finished sixth driving for Fan Force.
