WASHINGTON – It’s a little light with a big punch.
Luci is a solar-powered, compact L.E.D. light with multiple settings – low, high and flash for emergencies. A six-hour charge will return six to 12 hours of light, according to the video review.
It’s billed as a handy tool for campers, roadside emergencies, or even blackouts when the next derecho hits.
But for each purchase, the little light’s manufacturer Mpowerd will send one to a third world country to help bring cheap, renewable light to those who need it most.
Watch more about the light here or learn more about Mpowerd’s CEO, a Georgetown grad, from Forbes.
