THURSDAY, MAY 29

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama hosts a summit on youth sports safety and concussions.

WASHINGTON — The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has issued a subpoena for Secretary of State John Kerry to testify as part of the committee’s investigation into the 2012 attack against a U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya. The State Department has said Kerry is unable to appear May 29, and has offered alternative dates of June 12 or June 20.

WASHINGTON — Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson testifies at an oversight hearing by the House Judiciary Committee.

WASHINGTON — House Foreign Affairs subcommittee hearing on energy needs in Asia.

WASHINGTON — House Homeland Security subcommittee hearing on the Los Angeles airport shooting.

BERLIN — Germany’s Federal Labor Agency releases May unemployment figures for Europe’s biggest economy.
