WASHINGTON — Real estate mogul Donald Trump spoke about former President Jimmy Carter at the Conservative Political Action Conference Thursday, but killed off the politician.
During Trump’s speech at CPAC, he made a reference to the “late, great Jimmy Carter.”
The 39th president of the United States, however, is still alive at 89 years old.
Carter’s grandson, James Carter, responded to Trumps comments on Twitter.
I pretty sure I would have heard about that. RT @eliasisquith: Trump seems to think Jimmy Carter is dead: “The late, great Jimmy Carter"

The comments spawned a Jimmy Carter parody Twitter account.
I am not dead Donald.
