Rep. John Dingell, longest serving House member, to retire

WASHINGTON — Rep. John Dingell, D-Mich., will retire after this year, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Dingell, 87, is the longest serving House member. He replaced his father in the House some 58 years ago, according to the Free Press.
