WASHINGTON – With classes canceled at the U.S. Naval Academy, thousands of midshipmen found themselves with spare time on their hands.
Rather than spend the day taking advantage of downtime, a group of midshipmen decided to put their spare time to good use.
John Schofield, public affairs officer for the Naval Academy, tweeted that a group of midshipmen were preparing to take to the streets of Annapolis to help residents dig out.
