DiGiorno sends Burleson year’s supply of pizza

WASHINGTON – It’s the pizza story that continues to deliver. Two nights after he roasted the Redskins for nine catches and 116 yards, Detroit wide receiver Nate Burleson got into a car accident because he reached over to keep a pair of pizza boxes from falling off the passenger seat of his vehicle.

Burleson broke his arm in two places, landing himself on injured reserve.

He then tweeted pictures of the totaled car and the totaled pizza.

Now DiGiorno is trying to get into the accident prevention business by sending Burleson a year’s supply of frozen pies.

Not that the wideout’s prone to accidents or anything, but is that pizza cutter plastic or metal?
