WASHINGTON – State police say the accident happened around 3:45 p.m.
Three adults were injured in the crash. Two of them are in critical condition, and one is in serious condition, officials say.
A second medical evacuation helicopter has arrived on the scene.

WASHINGTON – A small plane crash near Freeway Airport in Bowie, Md. has stopped westbound traffic on Route 50, officials say.
The Prince George’s County Fire Department chief tweeted that they are on the scene with three people being treated and two people remaining trapped:
On scene shortly plane crash route 50 near Church Rd – 3 victims being treated, 2 trapped

One of the victims is being airlifted, and the other two victims are being transported to local hospitals by ambulance.
