PASADENA, Md. (AP) – Anne Arundel County police say a woman found dead in a wooded area in Pasadena may be the victim of a hit-and-run crash.
Emergency crews called to Bayside Beach Road on Tuesday evening arrived to find the woman was dead. Police say it appears the woman was walking or standing on the northbound side of the road when she was struck by a car that may be a 1982 to 1991 Mercedes 500 series. Evidence found at the scene indicates that there may be damage to the right front turn signal assembly, hood and right fender.
Traffic safety and criminal investigation personnel were called to the scene and police say the investigation is ongoing. Investigators are working to identify the woman.
