WASHINGTON – Prince George’s County police are looking for a D.C. man wanted in a May shooting and robbery.
Police say Franklin E. Hunter, 21 of the 4700 block of B Street SE, tried to rob two people on May 7 in Capitol Heights. He shot one of the victims in the leg as the victim tried to run away and jump a fence.
The shot victim was treated for non-life threatening injures and has since been released from the hospital. The second victim was hit in the face by an object and was treated at the scene, police say.
Hunter could face charges of attempted murder and armed robbery, police say.

According to court records, McPherson is charged with two counts of second degree assault and one count of theft. He has an August trial date.
Police say Hunter has stars tattooed on his arms. He also has tattoos on his face.
