WASHINGTON – When two roads converge, it can create a dangerous situation.
An analysis by The Washington Examiner finds the worst D.C. intersections of late for collisions include where New York Avenue hits Florida Avenue in Northeast and where Pennsylvania Avenue hits the Anacostia Freeway in Southeast.
The worst intersection in Montgomery County is where Colesville Road meets University Boulevard, which was the site of 51 crashes last year.
The worst in Arlington County is Arlington Boulevard and South Washington Boulevard.
Prince George’s County’s worst intersections include University Boulevard and Riggs Road and Livingston Road and Oxon Hill Road, according to the Examiner.
