WASHINGTON – Men and women talk on average about 16,000 words a day, and neither sex talks more than the other, an eight-year University of Arizona study found.
Other research from the University of Maryland indicates female brains have higher levels of a protein called FOXP2, and it’s believed to be related to who is the most communicative.
