WASHINGTON – One of the two proposed designs for the new Atlanta Falcons football stadium seems more like paper art than a sports venue.

360 Architecture calls its design “the Pantheon,” which features a retractable dome, reports Yahoo! Sports.

“The centerpiece of the dome is the “Oculus,” the eye that rotates open depending on the day’s weather and the facility’s needs. It’s meant to resemble the sweep of a falcon’s wing, and you can see it in action in the video below,” Yahoo! reports.

The second design called “the Solarium,” is dubbed a more traditional two-paneled retractable-roof facility.

The stadium rebuild is set to be complete in 2017.
