The Marine Corps Marathon has sold out of its tickets for the event.

WASHINGTON – Thousands of people who were excited to participate in the Marine Corps Marathon saw an error message when they tried to register online.
One of the many error messages says engineers have been alerted to the issue and to try again in a few minutes.
The marathon often fills up within an hour. Registration opened Wednesday morning.
The marathon’s Twitter account was tweeting about it:
