WASHINGTON – In 2013, travelers can plan to pay more for airfare and hotels, but there are still some travel deals to take advantage of before summer comes.
Thinking about going to Hawaii? Book that trip now. One deal, according to CBS News Travel Editor Peter Greenberg says a six-day package at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki goes for less than $1,300, including airfare.
In January, many ski resorts reassess their booking. The times to look for are over Presidents Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Sugarload Inn in Maine and Vail, Colo. are both offering great deals.
It may be hard to believe, but some places in the Bahamas have rates as low as $65 a night for a family of four. For that deal, look into the Atlantis Paradise Island. Depending on length of stay, there could be airfare credits.
