WASHINGTON – With an overtime, nail-biting win over the Baltimore Ravens under their belt, the Washington Redskins (7-6) now have won four straight and remain one game behind the New York Giants in the race for the NFC East title.
And while the win is the talk of the town, so is the injury suffered by Robert Griffin III. After the Redskins’ rookie QB went down with a sprained right knee in the fourth quarter, fellow rookie Kirk Cousins stepped in to tie up the game, with the ‘Skins eventually getting the victory on an overtime field goal by kicker Kai Forbath.
RGIII’s injury doesn’t appear to be as serious as it could have been, but questions still remain about whether he’ll miss any time.
