WASHINGTON – A Woodbridge women tells police that she was abducted and robbed Friday, a string of crimes that stretched through two area counties.
The 56-year-old woman reported the incidents to Prince William County police Saturday. Fairfax County police are also investigating. She told investigators that two men, one armed with a gun, abducted her from the 7200 block of Arlington Boulevard in Falls Church the day before.
The woman was standing next to her parked car when the men approached her and forced her into the car. She drove them to her home in the 4200 block of Gibson Court in Woodbridge. One of the men entered her home and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, police say.
She was forced back into her car and the men drove her to the Cheshire Station shopping plaza in Dale City. The men told her to get out of the car and to walk to one of the businesses. When she returned to her vehicle a short while later, the men were gone, police say.
The woman was not injured, police say.
Police describe the abductors as Hispanic men. The armed man was light-skinned, between 50 and 55 years old and about 5-foot-7. He has a thin build, a clean-shaven face and some gray hair. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, hat, brown pants and brown dress shoes.
The second man was light-skinned, between 40 and 45 years old, about 5-foot-5. He has a heavy build, a clean-shaven face and a broad nose. He was wearing a black baseball hat and khaki pants.
