On Saturday, May 12, The Spinal Research Foundation (SRF) will present the nation’s premier, 5th Annual “We’ve Got your Back” Race for Spinal Health, one of a series of SRF races/walks taking place across the country to benefit life-changing research and educational programs combating spinal pain and disease.
The honorary chairs of the event are four current and former Washington Redskins players who have overcome neck and back injuries. Players expected to be at the event include London Fletcher, Rocky McIntosh, Reed Doughty, and James Thrash.
The Opening Ceremonies will begin at 8:30 am,the Race will begin at 9 am, the Walk at 10:00 am, and the Race Awards Ceremony at 10:30 am. All activities will be held at the Virginia Spine Institute located at 1831 Wiehle Avenue, Reston, Virginia
The Spinal Research Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the improvement of spinal health care through research, education, and patient advocacy. Proceeds from the event will benefit SRF and helf fund the organizations groundbreaking spinal research and treatments serving children and adults.
