WASHINGTON – It’s not uncommon to splurge for an expensive bottle of alcohol on special occasions, so how about $200,000 for some Johnnie Walker?
A bottle of 1952 Diamond Jubilee Johnnie Walker is up for sale in Singapore, Reuters reports. The pricey premium liquor was distilled in 1952 to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th year on the throne. It is one of only 60 made.
Singapore, which has the highest concentration of millionaires in the world, is known for pricey luxury items. If $200,000 is a bit out of the price range, the same bottle can be purchased in Britain for only $160,000.
