WASHINGTON – After airing an exclusive one-on-one interview with New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin, ESPN announced it has fired the employee responsible for a racially offensive headline and suspended an anchor who used the phrase.
It’s not clear when the interview was taped.
Lin sat down with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, who asked him about paparazzi stalking his 85-year-old grandmother in Taiwan and rumors he’s dating reality star Kim Kardashian.
Lin also addresses the effects of “Linsanity” on his day-to-day life.
