WASHINGTON – Superstar singer Adele has kept mum about the man who inspired her hit song “Rolling in the Deep,” — so leave it to the New York Post to get to the bottom of it.
His name is Slinky Sunbeam, the Post reports, and he’s a musician who is apparently “seriously good looking,” “with a great body” who “likes to wear vests to show it off,” a source tells the Post.
Adele has been fiercely private about revealing the identity of her musical inspirations, but has said that two former relationships have influenced what she sings about.
Sunbeam, who is also known as Slinky Winfield, 25, apparently became involved with the British singer after she became famous, and is from Margate, a seaside town in England. The Post says the pair were introduced through Adele’s close-knit group of friends in South London.
A friend of the singers tells the Post, “It’s easy to see what attracted Adele to him. He’s a really popular guy, the life and soul of the party, and he’s a musician as well. But while Adele has the knack for writing songs which the whole world can tap into, Slinky’s material is more underground and kind of art-school trendy.”
