WASHINGTON – Police are hoping the public can help identify a serial bank robber in Prince George’s County.
The most recent robbery occurred Monday morning when the suspect walked into the M&T Bank in the 6300 block of Kirby Road in Clinton. The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money.
The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
Prince George’s County Police believe the same man is also responsible for three additional bank robberies:
- Feb. 9, 2012 – Capitol One Bank in the 1000 block of Largo Center Drive in Largo.
- Jan. 10, 2012 – SunTrust Bank in the 5700 block of South East Crain Highway in Upper Marlboro.
- Dec. 29, 2011 – Wells Fargo Bank in the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights.
In each robbery, the suspect passed a note demanding money from the register and the suspect took the cash and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 25 and 40 years old. He is about five feet, nine inches to six feet tall and weighing about 150 to 200 pounds.
