3 injured after road rage incident in Anne Arundel Co.

GAMBRILLS, Md. – Three people were hospitalized after an apparent road rage incident in Anne Arundel County Monday afternoon.

An Anne Arundel County Police spokesperson says some kind of altercation happened at a red light.

A man in a Ford Explorer got out of his SUV and approached a man inside a PT Cruiser when he was stabbed, police say.

The driver of the PT Cruiser took off. The man who was stabbed jumped back in his SUV and went after the vehicle and ran it off the road.

A fight took place after the collision on Craine Highway, just south of Md. 32 in Gambrills, police say.

The two men were taken to a hospital. A passenger in one of the cars was hospitalized as well.

The injuries are non-life threatening.
