Seattle University defeats Southern Utah 78-68 behind Christofilis’ 25 points

CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — John Christofilis scored 25 points to help Seattle University defeat Southern Utah 78-68 on Thursday night.

Christofilis was 10 of 16 shooting (5 for 10 from 3-point range) for the Redhawks (15-10, 8-6 Western Athletic Conference). Cameron Tyson scored 18 points while shooting 6 for 13 (3 for 8 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. Alex Schumacher had nine points and shot 3 of 7 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line.

Jamari Sibley finished with 17 points and seven rebounds for the Thunderbirds (9-16, 4-10). Dominique Ford added 16 points, five assists and three steals for Southern Utah. Zion Young also had 11 points.
