Moore’s 25 help Missouri State take down Valparaiso 82-74

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Chance Moore’s 25 points helped Missouri State defeat Valparaiso 82-74 on Saturday.

Moore added nine rebounds for the Bears (15-12, 7-9 Missouri Valley Conference). Matthew Lee scored 19 points while shooting 8 for 18 (1 for 6 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free throw line, and added eight assists. N.J. Benson was 6 of 9 shooting and 6 of 7 from the free throw line to finish with 18 points.

The Beacons (6-21, 2-14) were led in scoring by Isaiah Stafford, who finished with 24 points and four steals. Cooper Schwieger added 22 points for Valparaiso. Jaxon Edwards also had 12 points and nine rebounds. The loss is the eighth in a row for the Beacons.
