Obioha puts up 21 as Niagara defeats Manhattan 81-67

RIVERDALE, N.Y. (AP) — Harlan Obioha had 21 points in Niagara’s 81-67 victory against Manhattan on Friday night.

Obioha also contributed 16 rebounds for the Purple Eagles (5-8, 1-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Braxton Bayless added 20 points while going 8 of 12 and 4 of 4 from the free throw line, and he also had seven assists. Kwane Marble II had 11 points and shot 4 of 5 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line.

Shaquil Bender scored 30 points and made five 3-pointers for the Jaspers (4-8, 1-2). Seydou Traore added 11 points and six rebounds for Manhattan. Briggs McClain also had nine points.
