Fordham wins 80-74 over Saint Bonaventure

OLEAN, N.Y. (AP) — Kyle Rose had 19 points in Fordham’s 80-74 victory against Saint Bonaventure on Saturday.

Rose added seven rebounds for the Rams (8-8, 2-1 Atlantic 10 Conference). Japhet Medor scored 16 points, going 7 of 16 from the floor, including 2 for 7 from 3-point range, and 0 for 4 from the line. Elijah Gray shot 3 of 6 from the field and 4 for 4 from the line to finish with 10 points.

Chad Venning finished with 22 points and seven rebounds for the Bonnies (10-5, 1-2). Saint Bonaventure also got 18 points, 11 rebounds and two steals from Charles Pride. Mika Adams-Woods also had 11 points.

Fordham went into halftime ahead of Saint Bonaventure 44-39. Medor scored 10 points in the half. Fordham took the lead for good with 1:32 left in the second half on a hook shot from Abdou Tsimbila to make it a 72-70 game.
