Tennessee Tech defeats NAIA-member Alice Lloyd 108-82

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — David Early’s 29 points helped Tennessee Tech defeat NAIA-member Alice Lloyd 108-82 on Sunday night.

Early shot 11 for 17, including 6 for 11 from beyond the arc for the Golden Eagles (3-6). Rylee Samons scored 20 points, going 6 of 6 from the floor, including 5 for 5 from 3-point range, and 3 for 3 from the line. Josiah Davis was 4 of 6 shooting, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 13 points, while adding five rebounds and seven assists.

The Eagles were led by Koji Anderson, who recorded 15 points. Jared Strickland added 11 points for Alice Lloyd. Blaine Keathley also had nine points.

Tennessee Tech’s next game is Sunday against East Tennessee State on the road, and Alice Lloyd visits Morehead State on Thursday.
