Amtrak suspends some rail service

WASHINGTON — Amtrak has suspended some of its rail service Thursday because of the snow.

 

The Northeast regional train between Newport News, Virginia and Washington is canceled. 

 

The Palmetto, which operates between New York City and Savannah, Georgia is canceled.

 

Acela Express and Northeast regional service between Washington and Boston will run on a normal schedule.
