WASHINGTON — Investigators have released a description of the attacker who raped a teen girl as she walked to school last Thursday.
The girl’s assailant is described as possibly a Hispanic male, who stood between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot 7 with an average build and black hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans at the time, according to Montgomery County police.
The teen was grabbed from behind as she walked along the 17800 block of Auburn Village Drive — a residential street that runs next to Sherwood High School. A path connects a school parking lot with the street.
Police had said previously that she was attacked as she walked near Olney Sandy Spring Road — the main thoroughfare was about a block away from where she was pulled of the street into a grassy area and assaulted.
She was attacked between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Her attacker did not speak, police said.
