WASHINGTON — Police located a Gaithersburg, Maryland, teen and her young son Wednesday after they had been missing for about three days.
Elexis Kirby, 17, and her 3-week-old son, Zamor Kirby, were located safe and unharmed Wednesday, said Montgomery County police. They had last seen been seen on Sunday at her residence in the 700 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard.
Police and family were concerned for Elexis and her child because of their ages.
Elexis had been in contact with a family member via text since she was last seen, but had not stated where she was located.
