WASHINGTON — The Prince George’s County state’s attorney will testify before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday about a bill that would change how officials handle suspected child abuse.
Angela Alsobrooks will testify on House Bill 955, which would require every health practitioner, police officer, educator or human service officer to submit a written report and speak to the appropriate authorities within 48 hours if they believe a child has been a victim of abuse or is in danger.
